Student Council
What is the Student Council?
Every September pupils from Juniors to sixth classes are asked if they would like to run for the election to be on the Student Council. Pupils can put forward their plan/manifesto outlining all the things they want to do to be a voice for pupils in the school. Pupils in each class vote for and elect the pupils they think will make a difference.
Some of the teachers work with the newly elected Student Council. They are guided as to how to form a committee and carry out a meeting.
The Committee aim to meet once every month and they decide on different activities to make our school a better place to be.
The sixth class students keep the minutes of each meeting. Each student council representative feeds back what was discussed at each meeting to their class.
We love our pupils having a voice in our school!
