Margaret Fitzharris Retires

Margaret Fitzharris retires after over 20 years service to the staff and children of Scoil Naomh Áine. She has been like a mother and nurse to not just our current children but to many of their parents also. She has had many roles in the school. She would get costumes ready for plays, photocopy and laminate for all the staff, cut out and stick for the junior classes, help with coats and shoes, zips and laces, help our  secretary Sandra,  and the list goes on and on.

On Friday we had a very special Assembly for Margaret. Every class performed a special song for her or poem that they had written about her.  She was given a special front row chair and children made presentations to her as well. A book of special messages from the children was put together for her with a message from every child. At three o'clock the pupils made a  special guard of honour for her and cheered her out the door.

We will be lost without Margaret but hopefully she will enjoy her future time without us.

Thank You Margaret for Everything. xxx
