June Fun Day - Scoil Naomh Áine, Rathgarogue

What a day we had today, 17th June 2021, in Scoil Naomh Áine. The Activity Roadshow came to us today instead of us going on our usual school tours. It was a chance to celebrate together in a year that has been very difficult in many ways because of Covid. The Activity Roadshow brought great fun and entertainment to us all. The children had a disco headed by DJ John who not only managed to keep them moving but who also amazingly got them to stand totally still for more than 2 minutes and 40 seconds. The pet farm proved to be very popular with the children who loved the chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs, lambs and the piglet. Stacking cups and hook a duck were another favourite. The children played team games from Splat to Duck, Duck, Goose to pass the hoola hoop. They got a chance to show their stretching skills, jumping skills and hand strength. They never stopped. It was a fabulous day and one they will remember for years to come. They were all treated to a 99 to help cool them down at the end of the day. What better way was there to round the day off.
