In the week up to Easter the school children are all involved in making either Easter nests or Easter baskets and there were plenty of egg hunts in the school on Thursday and Friday. Junior Infants teamed up with their 6th class 'cairdes', pictured here, and they helped them make clay nests. After letting them dry out then the Juniors painted them in magnicient bright colours. On Thurday they went on a treasure hunt around the school to look for the eggs to put in their nests and to round off the whole thing, Berry and Fern, the two new fairies that have come to live in their classroom, left them little chicks to put in their nests. They told the Juniors that they had been very good in school that week and they were very proud of them. We hope you all have a lovely Easter Break.
