School work 3rd - 5th June 2020 - 5th class

Hello Kids and Parents,
I hope you all had a lovely long weekend and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. I would love to hear all the cool and exciting things that you got up to if you wish to share with me on SeeSaw or on the school twitter page. I want you all to really work on your Spellings for me this week because we are now in the month of June and we would love if you could finish this by the end of the month to be ready for September.
I have attached all your school work for this week on Aladdin Connect and SeeSaw. Remember you can send drawings, videos and voice recordings of your work too. Continue with your own book, remember if you have run out of books you can log into the EPIC website using the class code jts6590 or the myOn website for free extra books.

We are having another zoom assembly at 11:30 for the Senior end of the school on Friday 5 th June. If you have any questions or do not understand anything at all, please don’t hesitate to ask me. I am looking forward to seeing all your wonderful work again this week.
This week I have posted a picture on SeeSaw, it says "If I’m not a heart, what am I?" see what I have created and come up with your own. You may draw/paint your idea in your copy on a page. You can also create it on drawings on SeeSaw wherever you want.
Best wishes,
Ms.Keating.

Look at page 179,  it looks at the price of fuel for a garage. Please answer 1-5.

Art:
Today I would like you to find something or think of something that makes you smile and feel peaceful, then I would like you to draw or paint this. This may be a flower, a pet, a corner of your house or garden that helps you to relax and find peace. Everybody will find something unique, as different things make people feel at peace. For me I find the sea or a river very peaceful and the water makes me smile, so that is what I would draw or paint.
Then write a few sentences on why you chose this.
