Exceptional closure work for children > Work for week 18th - 22nd May

5th class work for week 18th May.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope you and your families are all keeping safe and well during this time!
As you know we are on week 7 out of 8 weeks of our Spelling For Me programme so we are almost finished!! It would be a really good idea to spend some time throughout the week practicing their learning words! Your child can do this by completing the dictations which are the blue tiles without the padlock! If every child completed  a couple of tiles (levels of learning words) throughout the week, this would help them greatly in a few weeks when we will need to complete an assessment on our learning words. Remember, the kids log in details, passwords, etc are stapled into their school journal. I can send these out to you in an email if there are any issues.

Well done on all the wonderful Rainbow Art that has been coming in on SeeSaw! It is so lovely to see your efforts and creativity! This week we have a new school theme. It is based on 'Our Talents.' These can be new talents and skills we have learned during our times at home, perhaps baking a cake, gardening, farming, striking a sliotar on either right or left side with ease or running for 5 minutes without a break! Or you might decide to show your talent or skill that you are developing further at home!! These may include musical talents, dancing, reading or art!! The list is endless!! So we want you to share a photo or video or a piece of art showing you practicing your skills with us on SeeSaw and if you wish you may tag @Rathgarogue_NS on twitter. I look forward to all the lovely ideas over the next two weeks!!

Please continue to practice your tin whistle! If people have forgotten their notes or are finding it tricky, just focus on ONE line at a time!! Even if you want to practice a little and send on your progress that would be great!! This could even be a skill you might develop further in the next two weeks!!!
As always, feel free to contact me if you need anything on msrobinson@rathgaroguens.com
Kindest Regards,
Ms. Robinson
